Got an offer from a startup but no stock options. It feels weird that new start ups (started 2019) don’t have stock options. Does it change the way I should consider the offer?
Absolutely - they should offer you what a well-capitalized company would offer but in all cash. They can’t sell upside, so they should come in big with cash.
What’s the point of joining a startup if you don’t get any stock options or equity? Stock/Equity or GTFO,
are you a janitor now?
