I semi regret posting my GH in my resume because I have some daaaaank personal projects that I slop together on the weekends. I still have to pass full onsite though 😋 I have a pixel on my site that tells me when people visit my GH and I notice immediately before interviews I always get visits. Should I put time to clean it up and add more presentable projects? Or does it not matter as long as I pass the onsite rounds?
How do you know that it's HMs that are visiting your GH? Also, it's not stalking if you're inviting someone to look at your GH by mentioning it on your resume.
Maybe make some repos tagged “For Hiring Managers” and everything else leave as is. It doesn’t all have to be presentable - as long as the important projects are
How did you integrate this feature? How does your blog know when someone accesses some other site like github? Is there any github api for this?
