No response after Google hiring committee
Was told my packet was submitted to the hiring committee last Friday but haven’t heard from my recruiter since then. Emailed Monday and Tuesday for an update but no response. Are recruiters supposed to get back to the candidate after hiring committee or do they have to wait for more reviews?
After submitting to the HC you'll still have to wait til you get allocated to a HC meeting. It takes some time (a week or so). When the recruiter said she submitted your panel I assume she means you are now in the queue for HC. Good luck

Yeah that’s what I thought would happen but since then haven’t heard back. Thought maybe it needed more approvals beyond HC?
Recruiter must have all the info. This delay might be a bad News. Sorry
Just wait. At this point the recruiter will call you no matter what. They don't ghost people
Thanks! My recruiter has just been flaky with the responses. Took 4 weeks between my phone screen to finding out I passed and was coming onsite.
The HC meets on Thursday. If she submitted on Friday you need to wait until the next Thursday at least for them to meet and another day to get feedback.
I think the hiring committee takes longer than just a few days.
Oh I didn’t know that. I thought they would go through the entire batch for that day in one day
