No word from recruiter after 7 business days (Amazon AWS)
Went in for an interview last week and was told I would hear back within 5 business days... it's been 7 and haven't heard anything so Im assuming it's bad news. Should I call my recruiter or will that seem desperate and weird?

I've been to multiple on-sites with companies that are known for responding soon. It has taken two weeks for each of them, including positive results.

Not necessarily. Amazon recruiters sometimes lose track of the candidates. All emails to recruiting go to a common pool that is accessible by all recruiters. Just ping Amazon recruiting and you should hear back in 1-3 business days.
I should mention that I did email the recruiter on the 5th day, no reply.
