Nonprofit donation matching at top tech companies?

Microsoft matches 100% of my donations up to $15,000. That means my yearly donation impact can reach $30,000 with match. I do a lot of charity work, so this is a huge benefit. Especially considering that I can donate highly appreciated stock awards to private foundations and avoid capital gains tax. What do some of the other top companies offer in this regard? I’m especially interested in Facebook, Google, Amazon, and others...

They offer the additional $15,000 in your income so you don’t depend on donation benefits

Facebook Qvsj55 Nov 26, 2017

Facebook doesn’t match anything.

Google cjirdbo Nov 26, 2017

Google matches up to 5k, I think

Google flwH01 Nov 26, 2017

It’s $6k

Amazon YLAc73 Nov 26, 2017

Amazon doesnt match anything

Amazon ss21 Nov 26, 2017

Damn

Amazon xFTf81 Nov 26, 2017

#Amazon is 0% - coming from Microsoft it was a huge disappointment.

Facebook mGsL38 Nov 26, 2017

Google is $6,000.

Facebook mGsL38 Nov 26, 2017

Facebook is a disappointment.

Dropbox f(x) Nov 26, 2017

Dropbox matches up to $1k. A 15k match is really impressive. Huge props to msft for doing that

Amazon graynewb Nov 26, 2017

Yahoo matched 100% up to $1000. Not sure how it changes with the Verizon acquisition

Amazon AjlB80 Nov 26, 2017

Why bother saying 100%? They will match 1k, period.

Amazon graynewb Nov 26, 2017

Some matching programs will match less than 100%. For example some 401(k) programs will match 25% of your contributions up to a certain amount.

Hilariously EFF, GNU, and men's rights and other anti "diversity" charities (read: pro equal rights charities) are approved for matching

Amazon Hooliganss Nov 27, 2017

Anti diversity? Like what?

Amazon Hooliganss Nov 27, 2017

And what’s wrong with EFF and GNU?
