What is the interview process at Nutanix for a cloud engineer? TC: 300k
I’m curious what an cloud engineer does at a company that sells hardware.
They are dedicated to only selling software now. If I recall correctly, sales only gets compensated on the SW portion of the deal, they don't care what box the SW goes on.
In that case they could really stand to make their APIs better, add RBAC, and make their terraform provider function.
@RokuRoku your TC growth is due to skyrocketed Roku stock growth. I don’t think NTNX can match your current compensation
It is fine. Would like to know the interview process
We were trying to build our own cloud (xi) at one point , not sure if there is any growth there. Unless you are a software engineer who write general infrastructure/system level code , there is nothing for you. There is carbon team writing kubernetes layer for our hci but that again is more infrastructure engineering.
Phone call w/ recruiter (20 mins), phone call with manager (45-60 mins), online coding exercise OR online test (30-45 mins), onsite interview where you'll meet 4-6 people incl. your manager and his manager (90-150 mins) and the next call should be to discuss offer. Shouldn't take longer than 3-4 weeks max.
Cloud infra engineer?
Nope
