What’s the best way to prepare for Nvidia swe on-site? From online sleuthing and blind, Nvidia doesn’t seem to follow any set format. I’m not even sure they do something akin to a system design round. What would I expect for a system software interview? Yoe 5
For system software positions, comp arch, operating systems, and usual c questions like implement aligned malloc, memcpy etc. Everything is there on Glassdoor. They still ask those questions although posts there are really old. And as usual, leetcoding surely helps, they could throw an LC easy or med at you once in a while.
Appreciate the reply.
The expectations was too much. The hiring manager asked me to explain Protocols related to Paxos algorithm. I was like wtf. Even Google doesn't ask that. This was for senior software engineer.
Yikes..sorry to hear that. Hopefully it’s not that hard across the board. I’m dusting off my old Comp Arch books😅. So, was the interview mostly related to the position you were hired for? I.e, did they not bother with ridiculous leetcode type questions?
P.s. comp arch coz that probably more relevant for me
