Got an offer from Novartis. They are offering Level 4 and I would like to know where I will be placed in the ladder ?
Why not ? Myne is a tech role.
Do not do that.
I wouldn't suggest it. The TC isn't great in pharma sector. You can always move from tech to pharma but if you want to come back to tech someday, it will be tough. Although it's a great company to work for - good wlb, good perks. Also consider the col. I think novartis is in a super low col area.
This is for Czech Republic location. Pay is okay for the location and I really want to get out from US due to all visa uncertainty
Not sure about Czech. But overall it's a good company. They pay attention to their wlb and culture.
I will give equal importance to wlb & culture. I am done with Bay Area. Bit doubtful after reading some horrible reviews in Glassdoor. Not sure whether we can trust these reviews
Don't read reviews from sales reps (pharma reps) and anyone in that hierarchy (territory manager, district manager etc). That is a different domain altogether, those aren't office jobs and pharma companies have loads of them. They are like insurance agents. I wouldn't even suggest looking at research (drug development). Read reiews from people in office jobs and preferably in your hierarchy (like software engineers, data scientists, commercial directors, brand directors, IT managers, operational excellence managers, marketing heads etc). All the best.
Sure, as you said most of them are reps. Are you working in Novartis or any of your friend ?
You want to move from LinkedIn to a Pharma company ? Of course, nothing wrong in that if you work in corporate finance or similar non engineering/product roles.
