Principal analyist is different than account executive and also depends how desperate you are for a job also is this J1 or J2 for you
I am guessing this might be for a different product of theirs other than enterprise content services? I interviewed there and got an offer late last year. It was enterprise ECS and I had around similar experience and their offer was $150k base and total 300k OTE. I was a top rep at a competitor though and I know they had to get exception approvals for it. I declined and went to AWS instead.
Definitely guessing you made the right decision
Not surprised, OpenText is absolutely one of the worst paying companies out there, their total compensation package is peanuts and well below industry average, no RSUS, very low bonuses, poor brand recognition. Stick to the larger tech companies who pay their staff a decent wage!
Now add the commission and stop misleading
Even adding commissions that's insanely low. Base for 7+ years experience is around 120k
Not for sales
