Databricks Enterprise AE #update I pushed back for higher rsu and received some. Not as much. But after speaking to a number of folks in my role at DB it seems pretty standard offer for sales roles. 310 OTE, 50/50 split 1100 shares pre ipo stock vesting 25% per year. (Basing this on a $330 per share assumption which seems redic high). #tech #offer #compensation #sales #accountmanager #ae #aecom #databricks Current L6 Account manager for global accounts @aws Current TC $250k or gtfo Yes I know my comp sucks at AWS

Their current price per share is $220 based on latest evaluation which is 38b

Amazon havemrc OP Feb 23, 2022

Not what recruiter was pitching 330 a share based on revenues

SAP tronics Feb 23, 2022

If it’s $330 per share that means their valuation is 57b which is insane

Google plop32 Feb 23, 2022

This is standard. Got the same offer with 100 more RSUs coming from GCP. Tbh I thought they’d be more competitive with OTE. Don’t listen to the recruiter about the $330 a share price. Stocks are getting pummeled right now. Also you are wayyyy low for an L6 at AMZN re: OTE - not surprised you’re leaving

Hit my cliff, got promoted last year. No new stock or anything. Gotta go man

Databricks kMSK85 Feb 25, 2022

These valuations do not hold anymore. Tell the recruiter that Saas multiple don't hold anymore so this valuation is out if question. Get more rsu

I work for Databricks and it's a great time to join

Microsoft switchops Feb 25, 2022

I got a similar offer. Not bad. Databricks way better than AWS.

Databricks is getting crushed by snowflake in the field. Be wary.

Databricks AllTheDBUs Mar 2, 2022

That seems way too low for AE L6

Databricks najqbi Mar 2, 2022

$330 per share is laughable. $200 per share is more realistic

How many more rsus did they give?
