The company just got valued at $2 bn and there is a talk of it going IPO within an year. Does it make sense to join it at higher management level with 20 yoe? What are some good questions to ask before joining? And what comp can be expected (break-up of comp-ask should be good)?
It’s a good company. The leadership consists of experienced people who already built a success story in Nutanix. You will definitely learn something there. Although I’m not sure about the $2b valuation. However even if it doesn’t work out financially for you, getting connected to successful people is a good thing in general.
Very low response rate is a bit depressing :( Anyone else has any experience/opinion on this ?
Why risk so much cold cash salary for Thoughtspot mid stage company? You will learn something new but definitely will lose money.
It's about the right way to measure potential and how to engage them in a meaningful way so that you dont end up losing money or atleast know what you are getting into
You will be low balled by giving you a rosy picture :)
It's definitely a rocketship and on target to IPO. Big deals with household brands. Yes it makes sense to join now. Stock is allocated per role level and can be negotiated to a degree. Competitive packages based on my experience.
What's the timeline for IPO?
Never heard of them. Are they like Hubspot for AI?
