OKTA staff sw engg TC range?
Can anyone share appx range for staff sw engg at OKTA ? Current TC 210k
No this is wrong. Someone posted an okta offer for sr sw engg at tc 290k. Then staff will be even higher than that
no, not really. staff would be around same or could be even lower. actually there’s not much info on okta’s pay as okta is relatively small
Like a lot of companies, the band for senior and staff are wide and can even overlap depending on the candidate’s experience and interview performance.
I had principal at okta for 325k, which was their max for principal. I declined
When was that? I have seen offers that are higher for principal.
About 2-3 months back. Even after negotiating with much higher offers that’s the max they had to offer. Base was high but Rsu’s only 300k
Okta is paying a lot of the salary in RSUs. TC for staff should be between 200-300 based on location and interview performance, but considering stock going up and getting pretty decent refreshers every year there is a good chance employees that started earlier and didn’t get a promo yet earn quite a bit more.
Comparable to your current tc.
