Want to support an operationally efficient nonprofit?

It’s Giving Tuesday and the nonprofit I volunteer for is raising the last 3 thousand dollars of our 10K fundraising goal through GoFundMe. We help low income high-school students by providing technology hardware grants and college scholarships. This year we were recognized as Guidestar Platinum, (above many larger nonprofits like UNICEF and WWF which are only gold or silver) with a uniquely high programming expense ratio of 88%. Our organization is 100% volunteer run, which allows us to spend a small amount of on web hosting and org services.
