It seems some employees at Meta are still fully remote despite RTO. They could be E6+ and people who are hired as remote before RTO. What is the % of remote employees?

Wdym are still fully remote? We never forced people that were remote to come back to office. We forced people who were assigned to an office to come back 3 days a week. You can still switch to remote and transfer offices with some level restrictions involved. Lots of remote people, 3-4 on my team. Thinking about going remote myself soon. We are also still hiring remote depending on org. A guy joined my team remote this month. Probably because Meta has always been way more distributed at the team level than most other big tech anyway.
Had a call with a Meta recruiter this week. I’m only interested in remote and the recruiter call ended one I informed I wasn’t willing to relocate.
That's not how you play the game 🤦♂️
@meta me do you think at offer stage you can ask for remote and get approved? recruiters seem pretty keen on no remote for L5-6 roles though
Got hired remote this month
Why is this a poll, when it’s an actual fact??
New remote hires are for E6+ only. Plenty of E4/E5 folks got remote status during Covid and not giving it up.
Last time I hear you need to be 1 year before working remote ?
18 months with MA or above recent rating to go remote
