People like her give a bad rep to the ones who do work sincerely from home. I was actually more productive wfh, did not slack out and was able to deliver way better than I did when I was in the office. These slackers make it hard for everyone - including folks who are disciplined and do not misuse WFH.
First rule of WFH, make sure your output is the same as it was in the office. It shouldn't be hard for most people, but for some it can be.
What if I use chatGPT??? I will have more copy pastes than key strokes
When the job market is tight all white collar jobs are like no manās land where you are just a worker bee no matter the position. Its company policy to monitor people to whatever extent they wish, these people will set trends and make this a norm. Some folks will make it harder for others this way by slacking off. BUT there are plenty who go to office and still slack with long lunch breaks, foosball, team building activities and mindless meetings. Itās an age old problem, not a new one. This direction is not good for the morale however. Imagine living in fear or always been tracked esp for people with anxiety and mental health issues.
"consultant Suzie Cheikho had missed deadlines and meetings, been difficult to contact and had cost her employer a fine after failing to complete a task." I mean... she wasn't doing her job at all.
Yeah sounds like she just straight up wasn't working. Clickbait headline
> 'I mean, I may go to the shops from time to time, but that is not for > the entire day. I need to take some time to consider this and I will > put forward a response'. > According to the findings, Cheikho also attended a performance > meeting with her manager via Teams with the word 'F***' written > across her hand.
Honestly, they had cause to fire her regardless of this WFH key stroke monitoring
I am her. She is me.
