Had a successful round of interviews with Oculus for Business Marketing Team. Team was great—all the folks seemed high caliber. Offer: Level: IC6 Base: $195,000 Annual bonus (20%): $39,000 RSU grant: $200,000 (4 year vest) Total annual comp: $284,000 Signing bonus: $30,000 The package was good and would've been a ~ 20% bump over what I make today. But they were unwilling to talk about annual RSU grants as part of the review process, or re-greening beyond the initial grant. Without that info, I could've upside down in 4 years. While the entire process (from recruiting to interview to follow-up to offer) was the best I've encountered, it felt like there was a lack of transparency on the equity/retentions side of the discussion. In the end, I declined.
I don't know where the communication is lost. But refresher is guaranteed at FB. Every year you will get a new refresher, that will vest in 4 years.
Yeah. It seemed odd that the recruiter wouldn’t respond to something that’s clearly part of every discussion.
Safe to assume at L6 refresher should be around $100k/yr?
