Offer Evaluation - Zoox Vs Audible Offer (QA)
I have two offers for QA, details below: Audible (Newark): Base - 146K Sign on 37K TC (including few stocks) - 190K Zoox (Foster City): Base - 164K Sign On 27K TC (including stocks and ZARs)- 270K (approx) #tech #offer #comp #zoox #audible #amazon Any reason why I should be preferring one over the other?

You get Amazon RSU for Zoox as well right? Also I take the ZARS projection that the recruiter give you with a grain of salt. It’s nice to have but don’t count the projection as part of your TC
Don’t count it *at all* or just discount it? I get it’s a crapshoot but needs to have some value. Maybe assume a low ROI or is there a chance it goes down/doesn’t grow at all?

12 YOE should be L5 at least. Seems like a low offer for L5
Zoox TC doesn't add up.. end of year 1 Amazon RSU vesting is 20% of total RSU offering.. there's no way they are giving you 400k worth of Amazon RSU in total.
I think he is adding up the ZARS projections that the recruiter gave him

Audible is not even close to Zoox in numbers or the excitement of the product. What exactly is your question?
Should the zars be not taken into account at all at current price or projected price for next few years ?
As with any pre revenue company, in a cutting edge solution space - there is risk. I am bullish about the long term. Just make sure it makes sense on cash aspects in short term

Based on recent ZAR news I would advise not accounting for them in your TC.
