Hey Blind Fam! 🙌 Reposting due to change in the offers. I am a consultant at Meta. I've found myself in a bit of a pickle - I've got two decent job offers on the table and I'm struggling to pick the one that's best for me. I'd love to hear your thoughts, experiences, and any advice you might have to help me make this tough decision. Here's the rundown of negotiated offers: Offer 1: CVS Health Industry: Healthcare (Saving lives one line of code at a time!) Role: Lead Data Engineer - close to level 5 Location: Remote Base Salary: $185,000 Targeted Annual Bonus: 15% of base salary Stock Options: None Benefits: 21 days PTO Estimated Total Salary: 212,750 Offer 2: FreeWheel(acquired by Comcast ) Industry: Advertising and Marketing Role: Sr Data Engineer - level 4 Location: Remote Base Salary: $185,000 Annual Bonus: 8% of base salary RSUs: One-Time New Hire RSU Grant $52,400 vested over 3years Estimated Annual Management Grant every year - 69,000$ worth stock n options vested over 5 years starting from 2024 Estimated Total Salary: 1st yr 216,960, 2nd yr 230,960, 3rd 244,960 Both industries are interesting, but I'm not sure which one has Job security(important factor for me) , wlb, brighter future and recession proof. CVS offer level is close to level 5 where as Freewheel offer is level 4. There is no salary difference, but those annual bonuses and equity options could really add up. So, what do you think? Any input you have would be greatly appreciated! Thanks YOE: 7 TC: 0 #data #dataengineer #healthcare #swe #offer #advertising #engineering #software #jobsecurity
Dang freewheel raised their comp, 2 years ago got the same level offer that's only 145 base, with slightly higher stock
This is indeed awesome offer from freewheel. What location you are based off just wanted to see is this the location due to which they are paying high tc.. usually 140-150k is their range.
New York
I think it’s a very good pay.. this is usually higher l5 or beginner l6 payrange in Comcast.
what did you end up with?
Take both
