I want to diversify into Cloud Technologies eventually I have my SO in New York so will be close if we decide to stay in Connecticut. Also provide reason for which is better. So I look up the amazon job post for that role. You wont be touching cloud tech but it may help with your data center skills. We have had some people come from the data center into cloud support roles but they sometimes struggle since they dont have much aws experience. Either way with the two options I would vote Spectrum, amazon gives shit raises and very little growth opportunities.
Charter has a very bad work culture.oncall with 24x7 shifts and rampant bullying. No wfh options you need to show up to your office everyday even in this pandemic and even if you’ve been paged in the night

Move to Boston or Denver. You will regret moving to CT. I lived for ages there and moved to the west and always dreamed about moving out tbh
Boston seems pretty expensive though. Can you elaborate more on why CT is bad?
