Interesting most are saying jpmc. I guess brand name? I used to work there. You should probably be at senior associate at minimum.

Morgan Stanley m7um May 28, 2023

Is this a codling job for JPMC? it’s strange that they give stocks

Amazon cWyF22 May 28, 2023

Banking is no stable ATM !

JPMorgan Chase Megamann May 28, 2023

Nothing in tech is ever stable my friend

Amazon cWyF22 May 30, 2023

That is for sure

HCL oUFk01 May 28, 2023

It doesn't matter actually

BlackRock dRjm88 May 28, 2023

What’s your TC at Verizon?

Capital One smpmcml May 28, 2023

JP and Goldman are the brands in banking. Banking also gives you doors into Fintech depending on projects and being at JPMC is a great brand. But congrats on 3 offers.

Morgan Stanley m7um May 28, 2023

yo, why did you leave out Morgan

Capital One smpmcml May 28, 2023

Didn't leave JPM got laid off at cap one (which I left wells Fargo for)

Atlassian honky honk May 28, 2023

Wells Fargo got caught opening unauthorized accounts and now they’re paying back $1bn.

T-Mobile okmar May 30, 2023

Stay away from t-mobile No great leadership and work is shit

T-Mobile M_Audacity May 31, 2023

I will second that Work life balance comes at the cost of future growth. T-Mobile is not an innovative company and most orgs do run of the mill stuff, nothing that could propel your career forward. You only have 6YoE so thinking long term, T-Mobile might not be the best bet

T-Mobile XYAq32 Jul 25, 2023

I agree with this. Work life balance is good but that’s a shit reason to go there. Leadership is in name only, and the person above me said it best that you won’t do stuff to propel your career forward especially since you’re still new you’ve got a good 34 years ahead of you at least. I’d choose a finance company. You can parlay that experience to other companies inside or outside of tech later on.

Bonus for T-Mobile is 15% and not 10%… Increases the Tc to 148k. Also they almost always pay bonuses at higher than 100%. But T-mobile is a shit show right now so proceed with caution

T-Mobile MagentaMag Jun 5, 2023

I chose T-Mobile over JPM. Definitely regret it. I’d rather deal with boomers at JPM and slow moving company than toxic leadership with unrealistic deadlines at T-Mobile.

Verizon mismar OP Jun 5, 2023

I heard that a recent layoff hit T-Mo's digital team, and another round is expected in mid-June. Is that accurate?

T-Mobile I employd Jun 5, 2023

Rolling Layoffs have been happening the past few years due to synergies from Sprint merger. Every org has been hit.
