Offer Indeed
Got an offer for indeed remote L2 SWE. I don’t have any competing offers, I previously worked at a FAANG, and I have 2 YOE. What TC should I aim for when negotiating? Levels.fyi is pretty wide range of YOE for L2. Any input would be appreciated, thanks! Current TC: 130k #indeed #salary

Depends on your home location, what’s yours? I’m remote in Seattle, L2 with 180 base, 155,800 RSU, 10% bonus target which puts tc at ~250,

I used to live in dallas. could probably swing it to 150 there by mentioning other interviews/offers, I had asked them to wait for me to finish my other interviews before accepting/declining their offer, and the recruiter asked me what I wanted so I can drop the other interviews and accept Indeed. I said 180, and they came back and said yes. They won’t give top of the range “to leave room for merit increases,” but I think 10% below the top of it is definitely possible. Offer also included 55k sign on which they upped to 65k when I mentioned the other interviews. Be upfront about saying you really like Indeed and the mission and the team seems really cool, but in this market you can’t afford to make a decision without being fully informed about the competing offers.

Not too bad, I feel like I was a bit over prepared as I just finished a few FAANG final rounds recently. Leetcode was around medium difficulty, and the behavioral and code review were fine.
