Offer comparison: Apple ICT4 vs Meta E4
i have 6 total yoe currently a Senior SWE at Salesforce. Got 2 offers. Both have similar TC of ~320k. Which to take? Apple ICT4 is higher level than Meta E4 as it is considered a Senior role. But Meta does promote faster than Apple so Meta E5 refreshers will beat Apple ICT4 refreshers. Apple from what I read doesn't have PIPs, however Meta does. So culture wise Apple wins i guess.
I would go for meta cause lot of desi managers in apple

I only did Mediums on LC for like 3 months. Skipped any hards or DP related. All coding questions I got were medium difficulty. People spend a lot more time on hards than they should. For SD, I followed grokking and some YT channels like Jordan has no life.
What is the split up of IC4 TC?
Reason for leaving Salesforce. I heard tech is pretty unchalenging there.
Actually have very bad wlb here. Have to work in the nights to coordinate with teams in India.

Apple hardly promotes to ICT5. But at Meta E4 to E5 promotion happens within 2 years correct? Up or Out or whatever it is called.
You do realise that these are not equivalent? IC4 at Apple is E5 iish. But yeah, we have up or out. But end up in a shitty situation and you are fucked
