Nuro - L4 Base: $145k / yr Bonus: $17.4k / yr RSU: 15k of Nuro RSU (@$18.27/share) = $274k over 4-yr vesting period = $68.1k / yr TC: $241k / yr Zoox - L3 Base: $ 155k / yr Amazon RSU: $15k / yr Zoox RSU: 35k of Zoox RSU (@$3/share) = $$105k over 6-yr vesting period = $14.4k / yr TC: $197k / yr How’s the package look like? Any room for negotiation up? By how much? The center of the question is that both companies has not IPOed. TC packages vary a lot by how much each share valued. Looks like you misunderstood or your recruiter did a poor job explaining the equity grant.

They are not RSUs. They are stock appreciation rights and your strike price is $3.

Keep in mind that ZARs take longer to vest. Growth after you've joined Zoox is quite limited. What about the sign-on bonus?
Same at Nuro. After you join Nuro's HW , there is no career growth here
