My wife has couple of offers and need help evaluating. This is a big career decision for us. United health - SF, CA - 180base + 10k/yr stock + 20k JB Chase - Plano, tx - 140 base Fidelity - Raleigh, NC- 120base + 10k JB Mostly looking to consider UH or chase. Is Texas being tax free make a lot of difference in terms of living. Buying a house at Texas would be cheaper but worried about big tech presence for myself. Apart from living, which looks good on resume ? United health (ML backend team) or chase (finance webservices) ?? TC: 200k after stock drop #chase #unitedhealth #texas #SF #bayarea
Chase - your money will go the furthest and they are too big to fail. I’ve consulted for them before and they have a shit load of money
Health care + ML + better pay + keeping options open for future in CA. Seems like a one sided deal
United health makes way more sense
Why considering the Texas offer and not RTP. RTP has big tech presence and google and apple now. Remote opportunities pay the most though
