Spouse got 3 offers and is confused on WLB vs money vs location. 8YOE SDET Current TC : 120k Tesla Automation Anywhere DocuSign My spouse wants to be adventurous and join Automation Anywhere, as it’s close to IPO and never been in a start up. Am suggesting Tesla, due to job stability, location proximity and probably better WLB. Any suggestions ? (All companies are offering around 200k TC per annum with Automation Anywhere have possible upside if it IPOs )
Never heard anyone saying Tesla has good wlb 🤷🏻
Not much upside left on Tesla stock. Ipo seems good option
Testing teams, or you can say any team at Tesla really sucks. You can praise Elon and the cars may be, but team culture is BS, especially if it's in IT Applications.
Take the IPO. If it doesn't work out well just leave after.
Avoid Tesla if you want WLB. I know someone who worked there for 1 month (SWE) and quit. Pay was bad (compared to other top tech companies) and working 14hr days was the norm.
Sdet vs sde huge pay diff 🤷♂️
Can to expand on this @swe_majdur ? She is offered SDET in all those companies.
But I thought they got some good replacements from Salesforce. Thanks for your perspective. How about offshore interactions ? Would RPA experience add to her resume ?
Docusign can definitely give more than 250.. wlb is good here
Thats the perspective my spouse has when she met the panel. Very nice people but they have the lowest offer 190k and they were quoting her coding was weak & cannot go beyond that.
Hmm then better go for automation anywhere.. tesla has a very toxic environment
Let your wife do what she wants. Fuck Elon musk
