Hey Blind! Please help me decide on the offers I got offers from Zoox, Lyft , FB and Samsara and Google Zoox : very complicated TC ~ 300k 200k base, 150k Amazon, and It’s own Stock appreciation rights but vest 6 year , core ML Area, very interesting work Lyft 420k TC, even split on Base and RSU, good ole App development FB, 360k TC, various groups to pick from, shopping, commerce , infra Samsara, paper money heavy, very chaotic environment IMO, no clear TC yet , but huge upside when going public? Work is on HW/SW Google ~300k, HW SW area, mild interesting Current TC 300k
Wow many folks voted Lyft, because of TC? Can anyone help state some reasons? The work at Zoox would be much more interesting from the looks of it
Generally Blind polls will result in the highest TC being selected (or Google). You should just wait for opinions in comments.

Seems kinda low for FB L5, Lyft seems the way to go for TC. Don't know about Zoox but probably wouldn't join over Lyft for $120k less.
Zoox's comp is not as good as it looks. If you leave before 2 years, you'll have to pay back the sign-on bonus prorated over 2 years. The annual bonus is rare, and if you happen to get it, it will be vested over 2 years. This is quite unusual IMO. Stock refreshers will only come in ZARs, not AMZN RSUs. If you stay for 4 years or longer and ZARs grow as they projected, you have a chance of getting a lot of money in the end. Of course there's a chance the projection is too optimistic too, but I give them the benefit of the doubt for now. The comp structure at Zoox is susceptible to change though. It's been only 1 year since the acquisition and we've got the ZARS vesting schedule changed (for the better) already. Who knows what better/worse changes will come.
Was it not 6 years previously? I guess it was changed on the percentage wise?
It’s 0/15/20/20/20/25 for zoox stock. RSUs are 20/40/40 over the first 3
I'd pick FB. Are you ICT4, how many years at Apple? With the stock appreciation, your TC should be more than 300K I believe?
Yes, over 300k FB can’t compete with Lyft though
Samsara. Leave for another if IPO fails. What do you mean by "no clear TC yet"?

Ask Samsara comp to be RSU heavy. Vest through IPO and lockup. Enjoy being overpaid. There is also interesting stuff yet to be made here and some cool people as well.

What level are you coming in at zoox? Ihow many zoox sars did you get? got an offer and I think I was essentially low balled. Not happy about that. Mine was only 130k Amazon stock and 100k sars. But the 6 year vesting is too long IMO.

If YOE is close to 10 and your fb interviews went great, E5 top of band is 210/710/15%/100. So, they should be able to give you that!
