Companies that pay as much as meta
Yoe and location ?
YOE: 13 Location: SFO
Both of those feel low for 13 yoe in the Bay Area… I think you can do better.
Not a question, one has an upcoming IPO
They’ve been “about to ipo” for years
And the other is workday lmao
Stay at workday, lower base and 50% paper money isn't worth the trouble
Workday +1, WLB over everything to me
Workday +1. Databricks is known for its bad wlb and low base salary.
@OP what’s your current role at workday ?
imo the peace of mind from workday WLB and guaranteed compensation is better than notoriously poor WLB at databricks and the promise of a liquidation event and marginally more TC. Unless your workload is terrible right now and the culture is toxic, I'd stay at workday
So true
How is Disney+? WLB should be awesome but why rating is not as good on blind
Didn’t databricks raise at an absurd valuation?
Workday Talk as many people as you can at Databricks before joining them. It's not a great work culture... It might be boring at Workday, but Databricks may turn your life upside down. More than pay, you also need to consider wlb
Workday likely has higher pay as well, the paper money from databricks now at some 20b valuation will drop to 4b when you have a chance to cash out
You know they raised yesterday at a higher valuation, right?
Cash that IPO stocks
