Can someone evaluate the offer for at t-Mobile (to me it looks at the very low end)? 165K - base + 15K - Joining bonus + 10K/annum equity + bonus(15%)/annum I have got more than 15yrs of telco exp and seek better position and compensation. currently offered at L8 but i expect L7. Can someone suggest should i skip? Current TC# 162 #tmobile #offer #telecom #tech update: Location Bellevue/Seattle (current and prospective) for an architect position.
What role is this for ? 15 years does not really make a difference va what you bring to the table. That said this seems like the exit bracket for L8 role.
15 or 20 most likely u will come as Sr engineer and wrt pay 165 is over mid range in bellevue. So good luck. Also expect moderate growth unless ur teachers fav kid.
Can we negotiate on equity?? Also pls.suggest if any idea regarding how tmobile is doing from job stability perspective??
You should probably know the equity isn’t ‘annual’ as they say. It’s over 3 yrs.
This is high end compensation for an L08 individual contributor at TMO. Bonus is almost always 100% unless you are a poor performer or go way above and beyond. Stock is 10k per year vesting over 3 years so you won’t get 10k a year until after 3 years of employment. First year TC would be roughly 193k including 100% bonus. Seems reasonable in this job market for an experienced individual contributor
Current location? Are you swe or qa? Looks low for 15 Yoe

Ok, so new tc is 175 and old tc is 162. I have excluded sign on which is one time and annual bonus. Tmobile employee should give you insight on how much you should be expecting. Some companies give 50% of target bonus (eg Microsoft), some companies have it for just namesake. Cisco normally gives it based on individual and company performance which normally is 100% or higher. Once you get that info clarified, you can decide. So assuming that you get what’s written on the basecase, you are making 23k more than you current salary. I see it’s not that bad like ~15%. Evaluate layoff/stability/pip situation in Tmobile and current position, and decide.
