I have the following offers: Citibank/Sr Analyst (AVP) Base 100k, Bonus 5% T-Mobile/Sr Analyst(data) (need to negotiate) Base 82k, Bonus 10%, RSU $3k over 2years Yoe: 2 (full time)/ Location: Chicago area Which company is better for growth opportunity and why? Any insights on the company culture #citi #tmobile #analyst #tech #finance
Didn't even know we had analyst positions in Chicago. One thing to note is that the bonus payout for TMUS has been really good for the past few years -- usually a 1.3-1.6x on the bonus from company performance. My personal impression is that Sr. Analyst at TMUS is a bit lower than the Sr. Analyst level for other industries/companies. And that Sr. Analyst elsewhere is closer to IC manager for TMUS.
I thought that TMUS employees didn't get a bonus last year? Maybe I misheard.
What were the interviews like for the sr analyst role at t mobile? Was there any white boarding queries/business case assignment
What is the complete TMO title? That offer seems really low for a Sr Analyst. Most Sr Analysts I know are L08 with 15% bonus and 10k year stock (vesting over 3 years)
What type of role is this at Citi? Base seems reasonable but bonus suggest something like Ops. Is this Ops or IT?
I will never understand why titles are so inflated in banking. Congrats on your offers. Looks decent for Chicago.
Thank you! Titles in banking differ from the tech industry
Because banks pay tellers or front desk officers or managers like 40k-60k
