Offer evaluation
Have three offers in hand. Currently work at a public tech company around the level of Okta / Oracle / Paypal. Equity values for Chime and Plaid are based on my research into recent secondary market values, not the companies nominal price or internal valuation (won't be sharing these). Dropbox offer is in Dash org. Would love to hear from folks at these places about morale, WLB, culture, and upside.

Dropbox could be extremely lucrative to join now IF you think they can turn the business around They are currently at 7.87B market cap. If they go back up to $32 pre crash price that’s a 37% gain and you’d be getting 270k a year stock
What is the level chime offered you?
What’s level and how many share? What stock price are you using for Chime equity?

Congratulations on your offers. Dash org is messy. I suppose the advantage over your other offers is that the stock is liquid.

Plaid is awesome. Not perfect of course and we have some typical growing pains but very ambitious product roadmap with an enormous opportunity in front of us. Very mission driven and great people.

Plaid morale is definitely on the upswing and we’re building a lot of exciting stuff, maybe too much. Culture and WLB dependent on team and office but overall pretty good and NYC is especially rad. We basically need to have a liquidity event by end of 2025 so that should be interesting.
