I am a Technical Project Manager with 3 YOE. Offer with Disney Streaming: $107,100 Base $40,000 Signing $120,000 LTI (vesting over 3 years) 7% Annual Bonus Annual LTI 25% of base salary I've been told there is really no negotiation on the base salary. Not sure if I should try and negotiate anything else. I will be honest, I only have the most basic understanding of how the RSU/LTI/Stock part works and what its true value is. I also am in the interview process with Stripe right now. Will update or post again if I get anything from them. Any advice or insight, from people who work for Disney or otherwise, about TC or just working for them in general, would be appreciated. #Disney
DSS is offering more than I expected.
Disney comp is competitive these days Annual LTI = refreshers (you get a new 3 year grant in December) Signing bonus helps make up for the 6-9 months before first stock vest Sign on LTI and sign on bonus are the negotiable parts
What would you recommend asking for on those two items? I've never done much negotiation since i'm still short on experience. Though they are asking to basically perform the role of TPM and Scrum Master all in one, which is what I would mention in any negotiation.
Maybe 25-50% increase. You might not get it - but they can always counteroffer lower.
Read the company reviews here and on Glassdoor. Disney is not a well rated company. I recommend taking Stripe's offer.
I've read the reviews for both companies. Both have pros and cons. For example consensus on Stripe seems to be terrible WLB and Hire&Fire culture. I'm sure if I receive an offer from Stripe it will be a lot higher and something to consider. But no company is perfect...
Not bad. We don't get LTI unless you are VP+ and bonus is only 5% for below director.
Is this sign-on after negotiation?
Take stripe. Trust me
40k signing bonus? Wtf 😳 Disney seems good option to earn some cash in terms of signing bonus!
