Offer negotiation.. do they ask for proof of competing offers?
Started conversations with a cap1 recruiter. Do they ask for competing offers if I want to negotiate? Have you guys found that levels or glassdoor are accurate for estimations? Live in HCOL area, hoping for ~180K TC. TC: 120k

Depends on the company but in my experience, they donโt ask for proof. You need to be willing to walk away though

Usually they do. You can say no and tell them the range to help with negotiation.
