Hiring manager reached out to say I should expect an offer within the next 2-3 days. Any idea how much I should be expecting. glassdoor showed a wide range. This is an Associate Merchant role
I can only make an uninformed guess, but it sounds like a similar level to a "Specialist" or "Sr. Associate" at other companies, and I would venture to guess that anything over 80k would be in the ballpark. It's true that Supply Chain jobs are in demand, but on the other hand it doesn't take formal education or technical skills to do. The only way to differentiate yourself is by being good at the job, at which point you could move to a more senior position, maybe at a faster growing company.
Also, comp depends strongly on YoE and education, even for the same job title.
Absolutely incorrect. Associate merchants are being groomed to be merchants in a year or two. Associate merchants are Sr. Managers who get paid higher on the pay scale, so more like 160k.
Loathe role is aligned with a Sr. Manager role. The Merchant is a director level role focused on merchandising. YOE 7 Education MBA (Georgia Tech)

Did you end up joining HD? YOE and comp you got?
What does an Associate Merchant do?š¬š¬
In charge of a specific category of product offerings. And works with the Merchant to strategize pricing, category mix with a focus on maximizing probability. Major focus on supplier/vendor management.
So like a Product Manager role mixed with Supply chain? For your YOE, I think you should aim for 150k in TC.
