Hello Users! I just want to bring your attention to the fact that big name companies like Google, Apple and Facebook are posting salary information in the description of job posts in compliance with Colorado new Salary Law! What does this mean? - Well in most cases California, Seattle and NY are HCOL areas so this is a guaranteed salary negotiation tool to get a higher TC! Plus you can go in with some insight as to what they actually pay.
The ones for salesforce state “minimum base salary” far below mine for job postings a level above mine, really inaccurate. And i didn’t negotiate either
Even if it’s far below yours this is still what the company has posted If gives now the job hunter a source of truth, if they see this company paying peanuts for a role like this they’ll move on
I noticed this a few weeks ago. Some of the pay bands being reported are ridiculous. $80K for a senior engineer at Salesforce? We know that's not legit.
Exactly what i was saying above, im not senior and make more than that base
I still don’t see many companies following this rule yet
and that is just base?
Google has specified that it’s just base
not much help😉
