Do you guys ever regret or feel bad job hopping for better pay?
Why should you feel guilty? Even CEOs jump as soon as they get sweet offers. For founders, they even call it "exit" lol.
Why? Companies don’t feel anything when they lay off workers Do what is best for you and your family
No. I jumped ship to have a 80% salary increase. Then, the startup where I was before moving closed 6 months after I left.
Somewhat. I do regret leaving MRM after being put on Focus instead of trying to ride it out for at least 1.5 years and not working harder to convert to FTE after my first company. I’ve had too many short stints, which should hopefully change soon with my next company. TC: 90K
Nope, I only lookout for me and my wifes well being, work is just a transaction. I know companies have no remorse letting people go so I have no remorse leaving when I find something better
I regret not doing it earlier.
Why would I regret it? I've never been promoted, but I make more than the CEO of the first company I worked at.

Noticed my gut is always right with job hopping. I work mostly tier 2 companies and lower (mostly startups) so noticed I job hop right before a layoff and have never been unemployed. The losers who stayed always got shafted. If I were at tier 1 companies I would not be job hopping as much due to the stability and practically guaranteed revenue.
