Hi everyone, I'm looking at a Security Engineering role listing at the Susquehanna International Group. Was wondering what 1) The working hours look like and 2) What the compensation can look like for people there. Both in terms of the software and even security people #engineering #security
Unsure about security but pay is good and wlb is great especially for trading firm. Loads of smart folk. Plenty of faang people have joined recently. I don’t think sig has set comp like other companies
How many hours would you and others in the SIG work per week typically?
what is comp like? do you mind expanding a bit, like they have much more room for negotiation? Considering going to quant firms as swe. But at some swe is treated equal to quant whereas others it’s kinda back office.
Not sure about the security group's pay, but they are a great team. Wlb in general is good, working hours depend on the team you end up on.

they pay traders well. I’m not sure if they consider eng back office. Hopefully someone from sig can chime in
