Edit: Item in question is a ceramic mug with realistic sculpted breasts. Do I take action and ask her to remove said items even though no one has complained? I personally don’t find the items offensive but it might be that I’m a woman. HR is all white male.
You gotta tell us what it is! Make it a poll?

Unless you specify what's the items, you won't be able to get proper help, and if it's too embarrassing to say on blind, then you should definitely address it with your direct report.

Thanks OP, that's highly inappropriate for a work environment. I would say, talk to the person and ask them to remove it. Make sure you explain tge reasoning behind it.
It’s a ceramic mug with realistic sculpted breasts
And why is that bothering you? Just wanna play safe as a manager?
I’m not bothered by it at all but HR keeps bringing it up without any concrete complaints from anyone. My stance is to leave it alone but need to get HR off my back.
What is offensive about the breasts? Context matters.
That they’re breasts? Nothing more. HR deems the mug inappropriate for the workplace
HR has that discretion. Likewise, someone doesn’t have to file a complaint for something to be deemed offensive. Employers can choose what they want in the workplace.
Does it make you want to do the needful?
OP post some pics to have more context. Asking for a friend.
Turned on by ceramic boobs?
Stop being a snowflake. Tell anyone offended to piss off.
Are they bare breasts? In a bikini? What are we talking about here? And if HR has a problem, why don’t they counsel the employee? Oh, that’s right - because they want you to do their dirty work. 🙄 Don’t cave - have them take care of it themselves. They’re big boys and girls...

Why would it be offensive? Unless someone has ED.
