@op, Make it more specific. Indian residents who never worked abroad for extended periods of time
My poll is for those who are in India now. Those that worked abroad but are in India are still Indian residents. The purpose of this poll is not dick measuring per SE. The purpose is to see what the lifestyle inflation is expected to be in India. Which directly depends on how much bank techies have
OP If you include demographics that might help more. I dont reside in India but curious to know whats the avg NW for someone in early 30s working in non-FAANG in India? People who returned to India for good can chime in too.

βWhat lifestyle inflation is expected to be in indiaβ?? How and why do you think anyone can infer that from your poll? And you think lifestyle inflation directly depends on NW??? Probably you need to dick measure your knowledge on these things. NW depends on lot of factors like age, living in HCOL/LCOL, if someone had worked in US and now returned to India which im sure there are a few in that poll.
There should be an age range as well.
Too many permutations
That will help in deciding the next 10 year lifestyle inflation accurately. A 20 year old and a 40 year old cant exactly be compared directly
Kaun hain ye 20 log 150+ wale? Kahaan se aate hain ye log?
Trolls
I think one more level of granularity is needed at the lower level. Assuming this one poll is enough to measure lifestyle inflation, I still think someone with NW 15L & 1.9cr would contribute *very* differently. What if all the "Less than 2cr" peeps are actually less than 40L? Perhaps a "less than 50L" could reveal better insights. Just a thought. Maybe this is enough for whatever purpose you're collecting this data for. :)
All less than 2cr are likely early career folks

That poll may include inheritance as well. 2-5 cr networth with inheritance in India is not rare even with peanuts salary. This might be better understanding. With same role my friends are earning 2.5x in US than India. In India I get 130k and my friends in US(California) get 330k My cost of living is nearly 15 lacs(18k) annually in India. This includes luxury 3 bhk apartment rent with 2 fulltime servants (cook and maid) a decent car and awesome parties every week. It also inclues some weekend trips after every 6 weeks. In US my friends spends 120k annually. It includes 1 bhk apartment, better car, no servants, party every week. Trips once in 2 months. After tax and cost of living I save nearly 72k (60 lacs) After tax my friends in US save 115k (95 lacs) So based on salaries you can expect 1.5x to 2x networth difference between India and US.

Thx for sharing. There is an option for you on the poll
