I am holding nutanix stock since 2017 . The biggest mistake i did was when it hit $60 I was expexting it will go high again. Whats your openion on holding this though 2020. Majority of my hard earned money is in Nutanix. I feel i did a big mistake. Will anybody acquire it ? will this company move to profitable any time soon ? I lost hope on this#investments #personalfinance
Sounds like you are hoping for the best. As a wise mentor once said âhope is not a f$$$$$g strategyâ You donât wake up at 8am and hope to catch a 9am flight. You plan ahead. Plan the trade. Trade the plan. Consider this as tuition dues paid in full.
Shit company run by shit folks
All the infrastructure companies like Nutanix, Netapp, pure storage have tough road ahead. May be you can sell majority of the NTNX stock and wait for the rest of the stock to hit jackpot.
You can sell now for half price and buy some other growth stock (when market drop again)
Weâre in this together my friend.
Do u think any positive growth in future ? Any hope on this
The company is doing really good and the leadership is now understanding the stuff around them and acting proactively now. I canât give you a timeline when the stock will reach $60 but I believe it will be atleast $40 in a couple of quarters.
Sold it at 30% loss at 35
The thing about stock market is its very hard to come back one you have like gone so down . If companies like vmware acquire them, then it might go up
Your investment strategy is wrong. While you wait for NTNX to rebound, youâre missing out on the rise of Zoom, Tesla, Amazon, Boeing, etc. Youâve lost $$ and now youâre losing time. Sell what you can and move the money to an airline or Boeing. Theyâre bound to rebound when people start traveling again.
This. Ntnx is and has been a garbage stock for a while. I sold a bunch of my stocks at a loss and invested the money elsewhere where there is scope to make money.
Just following up on my comrade. June 2, NTNX closed at $24.38. Today, itâs $24.51....Basically flat over 3.5 months. Zoom ($ZM): on June 2, they closed at $208.08. Today, closed at $509.25. Tesla: $176.31 on June 2. Today, $461.30 Amazon: $2472.41 vs $3363.71 today Even Boeing (with no one flying) went from $153 to $163. #micdrop
Why in the hell would you put majority of your hard earned money in a single company like Nutanix
Yeah thatâs true , As I said it happened
Got to get out of the sunken cost fallacy.
