People who work in McKinsey. What are your opinions on McKinsey's Design culture? Seeing their blogs on Design thinking and UX, it seems they do value designers pretty high. Especially since DT is a hot topic for business consulting these days. What kind of projects are designers working on? How is the design maturity in the company and the work they do for clients (or is it plainly driven by business consultants)
Asking this question means you don't understand how design works in real world π
Could you elaborate? I am just curious about the design maturity in McKinsey. Do the MBA grads even listen to designers.
Those articles exist as design fodder for clients. Donβt be fooled into thinking that it is representative of the kind of work that is consistently done there. At the end of the day, in management consulting, no matter where you work, you are obligated to your client, not the end users. As a UX designer, you have decide if youβre okay with that.
Blogs? Thatβs marketing not designers π

Designers design. Marketing markets what designers design.
