Oracle Bay Area Office
Anyone know if the Bay Area office is open and will most teams work onsite/hybrid or fully remote? I have an offer (non-OCI) and will start soon, but wanted to know what my potential work arrangement would be like. I spoke to my manager and he doesn't have a clue yet. #oracle #returntooffice
Depends on team. Most people are remote. I go to Santa Clara campus and it's mostly empty
Not required yet.. but you can always work from office.. i know there are offices in Pleasanton and Redwood Shores. Redwood Shores has awesome gym (with various scheduled classes also), swimming pool, basketball court, badminton court etc if that will attract you to go there, but there is no company wide plan for now to go back to office. It is just opened to go if someone wants to work from office.
It’s team based, default is opt in if you want to come to office.

Oracle culture has mostly been remote even before the pandemic. Of course it depends greatly on the team, but the general rule is if your manager doesn't come in daily, you don't need to, except for team lunches and meetings.
