That was OCI-C the classic oracle cloud which is based out in bay area. They are moving everything cloud to Seattle

Yes, standard interview process. Phone screen and onsite with 5 rounds including a lunch interview with hiring manager.

Oracle stock has no growth potential and may even go down over next 4 years. So your RSUs may be worth much less

That’s a big statement. The OCI in comparison to AWS and Azure is far behind but you can’t really predict what’s there in future. Moreover I don’t think AWS doing good has to do anything with my personal growth as an engineer. I am in AWS from last 3 years and I know cool it sounds from outside but the reality is not that great for the engineers working there. Most of the products are mature and in stable state. You don’t have much to do apart from Ops and Ops improvement
I have 2 yoe with masters. Got ic3 as well. My offer looked like 158k/ 485k/ 50k. Had competing offers
