I have seen many people recommending either AWS or Azure to folks who want to transition their career towards cloud. Obviously both AWS & Azure are the market leaders right now. I was wondering about the Oracle cloud. How is the demand for an Oracle cloud admin right now? I am an Oracle DBA and thinking about learning OCI as I would be able to relate much easily. Do you think thats a good idea? or should i stick to either AWS or Azure? Any suggestions will be appreciated. #career #tech #cloud
Makes Sense. I have been a core database admin my whole career. Looking at some of the cloud foundation videos and there is a lot more than a database.
You should be able to find a ton of threads discussing this. There were multiple heated debates on OCI vs the rest.
Will do. Thanks.
Hi
Public clouds are much more than a database, and all the other providers offer Oracle DB. So I think your premise is flawed.
