I've received an offer for a remote IC-3 role at OCI. I'm curious about the possibility of stock refreshers in this position. The hiring manager indicated there's no annual bonus, but good performance will be recognized. Despite inquiring about refreshers, I didn't receive a clear response. Can someone from OCI confirm whether there are any annual stock refreshers for IC-3 role? If yes, what’s the typical amount one can expect? YOE - 6 TC - 138K base + 14K joining bonus + 180K RSU vested over 4 years #engineering #software #swe #oci #oracle
Base wont increase a lot when at Oracle. Negotiate higher joining base if you can.
Location?
It’s a remote role.
Oracle adjusts pay based on location even if you’re remote
You are being massively lowballed my friend. IC3 @ 310k, 5 YOE (also fully remote)
With stock appreciation I assume?
You are being lowballed. I joined as a new grad ic2 at 140k + 200k over 4 years.
Location?
Bay area
Major lowball. I joined as IC2 with exactly 2x of your RSU and bonus
Thanks for reply. Did u join recently? And location?
2021 hire Seattle
This is bs, folks are just hyping up. Since last year the ranges have been reduced. 180-250$ would be the range for total comp per year
This +1
I am not sure but I heard the same from few others who recently got offers from Amazon!
situation has changed since last year. This is new normal
To answer your original question - yes, Refreshers are there based on your performance and how much your manager likes you. Although Refreshers would be low, just to have a guess on numbers - 70k for next 4 years, after your second year completion
I received 50k for 4 in my 2nd year
I can relate, sounds reasonable
Not a great offer. Had higher base , sign on and stock as an IC2. Don’t depend on refreshers or increased.
You're being lowballed. Base is usually much higher than yours.
Replies from people like you turned my life around! Bless you! Thanks a thousand!! Lowballing is so freaking common that it helps to know when you are hit with one
Sounds like you are being lowballed… Can you add the location of your position?
