I had completed interviewing with Oracle Cerner a couple of weeks ago and got the verbal offer . The recruiter said the approval and offer letter process was pretty long. They had said I could expect an offer generated soon but keep delaying. They said it's in the final round of approvals and its been taking awhile due to reorgs, manager errors in submission, among other things. It feels odd. How concerning is this? 7 week holdup to pay peanuts. Unbelievable
Do you need to move to Kansas City ?
Oracle manager here - it’s happening to many roles and internal moves as well! It’s not you.. there are other things holding it up. Hold tight :)
It took 12 weeks in my case
Cerner is laying off right now.
It will take a long time and probably get rescinded. I wouldn't stop looking and bank on this. Our reddit has a bunch of people who just graduated and had their written rescinded. Your comp indicates you're coming in at one of our sr levels, so I would wager you can do better somewhere else. Probably even in another area within Oracle.
OCI is hiring!
Senior level? His comp is low
It took me almost 2 months to get the start date..
2-6 months. Many just got rescinded last week. Cerner had layoffs last week
