Oracle Promotion: salary increase?

During my last 1-1 with my manager, he mentioned that he plans to promote me from IC2 to IC3 in July 2024. I joined Oracle as a New Grad in July 2023. I'm curious about what kind of salary increase I can expect. By the way, I'm not in OCI; I'm in the Database Org.#oraclesalary #oracle #oracleoci #oraclecloud #tech

Be happy u r getting a promotion in this market, esp as a new grad and stop worrying about the increase. People are ready to join the same position with more experience wit so many layoffs. So learn while u r there and thank ur manager for valuing ur efforts and promoting u

Again with the bs content that be glad that you've a job comment. OP don't listen to advise like this, it's usually made by whiny people who suck at their job and happy with not doing anything about it. Good for you that you're getting a promotion.

Made by a mundane machine who would lack any life and keep running behind money. The kid is just starting in life, he should enjoy his moment than worry about the money. he ll get all he wants in life with a healthier mind than a money mind. Stop selling ur bs in making others a f machine.. let them enjoy and learn each part of life.OP listen to these guys and u ll never be happy in life and jus a loser like them running behind NW and never be happy.

Don't get into comfort zone or trust your manager. Promo can be denied for any reason or hike could be very less than market rate. Be prepared to grab any nice opportunity, market is opening up.
