I am in a interview process with #oracle , I've been told by the recruiter that in UK Oracle employees have just the bare legal minimum of 20 days plus bank holidays !? Then the recruiter told me that you have a weird points system where you can buy additional days off (do you need to sacrifice your salary??) Can anyone in Oracle UK please confirm, I have 30 days + annual leave at SAP, not willing to give up so many in a new job. Thanks
I read βOracle leaves UKβ π
Can confirm this is the case. I also got an offer from OCI UK where you need to "purchase" leaves above 20 using points and rest can be added to base. You don't need to sacrifice salary. The points are given in addition to your base. But if you think of points as something you can fully add to base then yes it's a base salary sacrifice.
Yes can confirm you get 20 days plus bank holidays so 28 days total (20 in reality). Every year you are assigned Oracle points that can be used to select your benefits - these are on top of your base salary. Some of the things you can spend these points on: additional salary, additional holidays, new car, dental, insurance etc
TC?
well OCI is garbage anyways
