Oracle new grad offer
Here is my offer joining after june 2019 120k base, 2800rsu/4 years, 20k signing + 10k relocation. Is this a good offer for oracle in the bay area? If you have offers from oracle this year please share your numbers. What is the typical oracle offer this year? Please help !
Your offer looks upward of 150K TC. Didn’t know oracle paid fairly competitively, especially to undergraduates. Nice
Contrary to what you find on Blind, if you are a strong new grad, you have a very high chance of out-earning your peers at G/FB/MSFT while working at ORCL. The problem is that ORCL will not see the stock appreciation that G/FB did over the past 5 years which has led even mediocre E4 engineers to have ~350k TC. Of course, once the stock inevitably flattens out which is what's most likely going to happen over the next 5 years, ORCL becomes a very lucrative choice.

Looks a decent offer for BS but keep interviewing. Try FAANG
Which group ? I would consider joining oracle only if it’s OCI or core database group. Oracle in general does not appreciate talent . Your salary will stale for next 5-6 years . Rsu refreshers are very minimal (about 4-5k a year) and only if you are in top performer. Most of the people don’t get anything. If you are highly motivated at start of your career then it’s wrong place to join. The existing oldies and lethargic people are sufficient to demotivate any person. If you want to learn a lot then join any other firm without salary considerations. If you don’t want stressful work hours then it’s good place. Choice depends on you! Congratulations for your offer. Good offer but do you have anything to compare with ? Asking feedback like this when you know that graduate offers are non-negotiable , is a waste of time

Do you know what the max band for new grads are this year?
Max band depends on 3 things: 1. Your college 2. Your competing offers 3. The desperation of backup candidates If top 10 college, competing offers from G/FB/MSFT, no better candidates, then offer can be as high as 140k, 5000 RSUs. Otherwise, what you get is what you get. There are tons of MS students from foreign countries who will accept your offer.
