https://www.businessinsider.com/oracle-layoffs-2019-3?utm_source=quora&utm_medium=referral Oracle laid off an unspecified number of people this week. The cuts happened across the company but they also occurred in a segment of Oracle's cloud business, according to online chatter. This is not unusual for Oracle, which has held major layoffs every year.
How many were laid off from OCI Seattle?
How many people laid off - any ideas ?
I've heard hundreds, maybe more than thousand people
Don’t they have to post on state lay-off list or something
Just for states that enforce the WARN act. California, Illinois, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Tennessee and Wisconsin.
Over 6000 people and counting. We knew things were not going well, but this is far beyond what anyone at our level expected. This is not simply a change in direction, this is an act of desperation. Healthy companies don’t do cuts like this. Only failing ones do. I survived but will start searching anyway.
He meant 600
Wasn't that quiet at the office. Tell you that
LoL. More inside scoop?
What happened?
