Career and college options for kids? My son is not too much into studies and has mix of As and Bs with science APs.

Junior this year. Wondering if CS is even worth chasing . Students who major in liberal arts, performing arts and theology earn the lowest salaries within five years of graduating from college, a recent New York Federal Reserve analysis reveals. All three majors made a median annual income of $38,000, the lowest out of the 75 majors in the study. Other low-paying majors include leisure and hospitality, history, fine arts and psychology, all of which made $40,000 or less per year.

Cs could be a miss when he is in his 30's/40's, and that's problematic since he will have to reinvent himself somehow. I think health sector is safe, at least for his lifetime.

What does he want to do?

Engineering but not cs

That sounds great as I think we have somewhat over invested in the software eating the world mentality.

Lol. What do your children have an interest in? Honestly it feels like you're on the path to create a resentful child trying to plan their life.

Nah , he is bit careless and I am wondering if there is an option I can show him. Pilot , merchant navy , business etc

Lot of kids go in undecided. It’s ok. Hire a college consultant who can help figure out which colleges to target for him
